Everyone wants to be the lead

I want to be the lead

Not the big lead

Not really a lead

A solo

That’s what I want

I want to be seen

Not as a group

As an individual

Why do the wealthy always get the lead?

Why do the annoying get it?

Why can’t they see?

I may be an introvert but ignoring

                                       me help no one

I know your excited

I know you’re a lead

But you’ve been a lead

And you, your younger than me

You will get your chance

I never will

Just because my family has less money

Not will

You’re going on to college for that

Neither am I

So why are you so special?

All I want is one single seen

One different outfit

Unsuited to the part

I thought this was for everyone
